The Keweenaw Community Foundation’s fall grant cycle will close the application period on Thursday.
The fall grant cycle will support a variety of projects, programs and initiatives across the Keweenaw Peninsula. This year’s fall grant cycle, the Keweenaw Community Foundation expects to disperse up to 10,000 dollars per project for the Fall Field of interest grants. The field of interest grants will be supported by several funds managed by the foundation, including KCF’s Community Impact Fund, the Environmental Fund, Copper Shores Community Health Foundation Community Wellness and Outdoor Recreation Fund, Joe Freed Empowerment Fund, and more.
The foundation suggests potential applicants include important information such as a budget template, and letters of support for the project including support from collaborators. Those with questions about their application should contact Director of Programs Madelina DeLisi for more information.
Those interested in applying for a fall field of interests grant or want to learn about the Civic for Life supported Youth Advisory Grant program can find more details online.
