Roy Alan Ekdahl, age 64 of Baraga, MI passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Baraga County Memorial Hospital, L’Anse. He was born in L’Anse on June 13, 1962. Roy graduated from L’Anse High School and attended Michigan Tech University where he received his engineering degree.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Roy was very loyal and dependable and loving to his family and many friends.
He had worked for ABC Contracting and had a love for carpentry and was very talented in building and design. Roy was a Star Wars fan.
Roy is survived by several family members and was preceded in death by his mother Roberta Lambet, brother Rodney and his sister Laurale “Sissy”.
No services are scheduled at this time.
