Renee Lynn Baroni, age 77, passed away on September 17, 2026, in Columbus, Ohio, following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Renee was born on April 14, 1949, in Laurium, Michigan, to Ernest and Genevieve Quello. She graduated from Rufus King High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1967 and went on to build a successful career as an insurance underwriter with Great Lakes Mutual Insurance Company before retiring.
Renee is survived by her children: Glenn (Jamie) Percifield of East Troy, Michigan; Nicole (Chris) Miracle of Columbus, Ohio; Brandi (Nate) Kowalinski of West Allis, Wisconsin; and Mary (Mike) Baroni of Calumet, Michigan. She was a proud grandmother to Sylvia, Alex, Sophie, Ethan, Brody, and Lucas, and a cherished great-grandmother to Emerson. She is also survived by her daughter-in- law, Dana Percifield of West Allis, Wisconsin. She leaves behind her brothers, Ernie Quello Jr. of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Michael Quello of Mohawk, Michigan, and Brian (Cindy) Quello of Monroe, Michigan; her sisters, Peggy Niemela of Calumet, Michigan, and Cheryl (Steve) Lanctot of Laurium, Michigan; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Renee was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Percifield; her parents, Ernest and Genevieve Quello; her brother, David Quello; and her sister-in-law and dear friend, Kathy Quello.
Renee will be remembered most for her bright smile, caring heart, and the warmest hugs. She found her greatest joy in spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed playing Yahtzee, card games, bingo, completing word searches and puzzles, and could often be found watching her favorite television show, Law & Order.
Her love, kindness, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Renee’s life from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on October 6th, 2026 at the Hidden Pines Barn in Calumet, Michigan – 26150 E Pine Street in Calumet.
