Gloria J. Codere, 71, of Lake Linden, passed away on August 28, 2026 at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium.
She was born on December 18, 1954, a daughter of George and Dorothy (Monville) Perreault. She attended Saint Cecilia Catholic School in Hubbell.
Gloria worked at John and Vi’s restaurant in Calumet and went on to work for the Houghton County Medical Care Facility. She loved helping people.
She was married to Daniel Klarich, Sr. and later married Willard Codere; and he passed away on January 3, 2012.
Gloria was a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed mowing the lawn, helping take care of the grandkids, and painting. She loved coffee.
She was preceded in death by: her husband-Willard, her son-Daniel Klarich, Jr, sister-Carol, and former husband-Daniel, Sr.
Gloria is survived by: daughter-Wanda Klarich; son-Jeffrey Klarich; daughter-in-law-Diane Kowalski; grandchildren-Dylan, Emily, Hannah, Jenna, Hayle, Kayleigh, Josh, Shane, Jordan, Trevor, Alexis; 9 great-grandchildren; special friend-Roger Warala; sisters-Bernadette White, Donna Poirier, and Janet Trevarrow; and neighbor-Russ.
At Gloria’s request, there will be no funeral services. The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
