The Michigan Department of Transportation will resurface about 3.5 miles of US-41 from the Alger County line to Marquette County Road 456 next week.
The work will include cold milling, asphalt resurfacing and pavement markings. The project is expected to occur between Aug. 20 and Oct. 30.
Drivers should expect one lane of alternating traffic in work zones. MDOT will use traffic regulators to control traffic in the area.
