Hancock Public Schools and City of Hancock has voted to approve the proposal for a city millage to fund a new district library in a special committee meeting last Friday. During the meeting, the committee corrected the proposal phrasing to reflect the actual millage value of 0.7 mills, the final proposal was accepted unanimously. The proposal reflecting this millage will be drafted and presented in the November election for those in the City of Hancock as well as those served by Hancock Public Schools.
The new district library will serve the Hancock Public School system as well as the City of Hancock. For more information, click here.
