Ray Ray Miller, 65, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, formerly of Marenisco, MI, passed away on August 5, 2026, along-side his beautiful friend, Kimberly, while they were riding motorcycles on his beloved Keweenaw Loop.
Ray Ray was born on February 16, 1961, in Ilo, Peru, a son of Raymond and Valerie (Childers) Miller. He graduated from Marenisco High School in 1979. He worked as a mechanic for most of his life. He operated Arlington Auto while living in Texas. He was currently coordinating a HVAC and Facilities Management team in South Carolina that was associated with Campbell’s Soup Company.
Ray Ray seemed to always have a plan to “get rich quick,” that usually turned into many more hours of work than originally expected. He was a rock hound and would pan for gold. He enjoyed tinkering with anything mechanical. He loved motorcycles and gardening. He had a lot of friends as a social-networking guru, and would share his adventures on social media.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by: son-Ryan (Karlie) Miller; daughter-Shelby Miller, Mother-Valerie Miller; 2 brothers-Jeffrey Miller and John (Mim) Miller; nieces and nephews-Jamie, Jordan, Garrett, Audree, Dan, and Carrie; grandnieces and grandnephews-Camden, Jakob, Hudson, Lucas, Holden, Mason, and Reed; he remained friends with former spouses- Tammy Kauranen, Robin Miller, Leslie Miller, and Jenny Miller; and other friends and relatives along with his zoom-zoom gang.
A private celebration of life will be planned for a later date. The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is assisting the family.
