The Copper Country’s Pride Market returns for its second year, setting up inside the Orpheum Theatre on June 28.
The market gathers 20 LGBTQIA+ artists and makers to share artisan-made soap, jewelry, plant starters, garments and more. Gary Kotila, Sophie Hansen and Whimsiqueer Event Collective have partnered to organize this year’s event.
“This market offers queer makers a space where their work and identity can be celebrated, while connecting with the wider community,” the organizers said in a release.
The 2026 event grows from a 2021 gathering Kotila organized at the Rozsa Center and later pop-ups in 2024. Black Ice Comics is this year’s sponsor. The market runs from 1 to 6 p.m. Find more details for the event here.
