In high school volleyball last night…
- L’Anse got past Chassell 3-2 (18-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-15, 15-6). For the Panthers, Elli Kuntze had 15 kills, 4 aces and 11 digs. Oriana Olson had 12 kills, 3 aces and 16 digs. Sylvia Aho had 30 assists and 3 aces. Hilde Kuntze had 5 kills, 4 aces and 11 digs. Skye Isaacson had 16 digs.
- Ewen-Trout Creek blanked Watersmeet 3-0 (25-5, 25-4, 25-5).

MLB
The Brewers scored eight runs in the fifth inning, and pounded the Rays 10-1 last evening. All of the fifth-inning runs scored with two outs, and five were charged to former Milwaukee ace Freddy Peralta. The Crew sent 12 men to the plate, and got RBI doubles from Cooper Pratt, Sal Frelick and Jackson Chourio. Robert Gasser gave up one hit over six shutout innings to get the win.
The Brewers lead the World Series 3-0, and could wrap up the title with a win tonight in Saint Petersburg.
NHL
The Red Wings outlasted the Oilers 4-3 in a shootout last night. Dylan Larkin’s goal with 77 seconds remaining in regulation forced overtime. Lucas Raymond netted the only goal in the shootout.
The Wings will host the Blackhawks Thursday.
NBA
The Pistons visit the Knicks this evening.
The Bucks earned their first win of the season, downing the Pacers 110-102 last night. Tyler Herro scored 23.
The Bucks entertain the Rockets tomorrow.
NFL
The Cowboys outscored the Eagles 38-21 in the Monday night contest. Dak Prescott threw three touchdown passes.
