Fabian E. Loonsfoot, age 46 of Baraga, MI passed away Thursday, October 22, 2026. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI on July 5, 1980 the son of the late Scott and Dawn (Loonsfoot) Burdick.
Fabian attended school in Baraga. He was a member of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. Fabian had been employed with JCS Company and in maintenance at the Ojibwa Casino. He enjoyed playing sports, including baseball and bowling, cooking, visiting with friends and loved watching movies with his daughters and lifelong partner.
Fabian is survived by his loving daughters Layla Loonsfoot and Lilianna Gauthier both of Zeba, his lifelong partner Jordanna Gauthier of Zeba, siblings Bobbi Loonsfoot of Baraga, Scott Loonsfoot (Sheena Friisvall) of Baraga, Alicia Norman of Grand Rapids, MI, Jessica Norman of Marquette, Jared Gauthier of Baraga, and Jay Gauthier of Baraga.
Fabian was preceded in death by his grandparents and his mother and father.
Traditional native services were held.
