Michael Jason Ferguson of Mohawk, MI passed away on Sunday September 6, 2026 at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium.

Michael was born on January 23, 1972 in Farmington Hills, MI to parents Craig and Corinne (Palo) Ferguson. He graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell High School in Lake Linden, MI. He met the love of his life, Julie M. (Hubbard) Ferguson and they were married in April 2005.
Michael worked as a Manufacturing Supervisor at Calumet Electronics until his passing.
He loved to play his guitar, fish, kayak, and BBQ. He also loved to shoot his guns with his son-in-law Lawrence.
Michael is preceded in death by his mother Corinne, his older brother Jamie, both sets of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is survived by his wife Julie, daughters Amber-Mae (Buddy) Morgan, Brittany (Lawrence) Tillitson, and Carley (Landon Kin) Ferguson, his grandchildren Ariana, Sophia, and Jaxx, his sister Julie (Carl Gonczy) Jeremy (Heather Norton), father Craig Ferguson, in-laws Gary and Darlene Hubbard, sister-in-law Janice Roy, brother-in-law Stuart Hubbard, and his nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Michael Ferguson will be held at the Hidden Pines Barn in Calumet, Michigan starting at 5:00pm on Saturday, September 19, 2026. There will be a time of remembrance at 6:00pm.
