Michigan Technological University’s Bachelor of Science in Construction Management program held an inaugural awards ceremony to honor student achievements in the past academic year.
The program was established by faculty Kerri Sleeman and Jen Miller in partnership with the Husky Construction and Design Association. The awards celebrate academic excellence, leadership, service, research and professional engagement.
Inaugural awards recognized construction management student of the year Hannah Baker and construction management scholar awards given to Matthew Zimmerman and Evan Diemling.
Other awards honoring student success included student employee of the year, Husky Construction and Design Association Member of the Year and the College of Business Exceptional Student award.
In total, the inaugural construction management program awards recognized eight awards and 11 students.
