Michigan Technological University will host an e-waste recycling drive next week, aligning with the campus’s commitment to environmental stewardship and technical education.
The collection event, held in partnership with EGLE and the Superior Watershed Partnership, will accept computers, monitors, printers, phones, keyboards, routers, CDs, DVDs, and VCR players. Kitchen appliances, vacuums, lamps, and rear-projection televisions will not be accepted.
The drive runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 17 in Lot 24 on Sharon Avenue. Participants pay a flat $5 fee per vehicle, regardless of the number of items dropped off.
