Calumet High School has named Glenn Patrick as its new head varsity hockey coach.
The appointment was approved at last night’s Board of Education meeting.
Patrick is a Calumet native. He was an assistant coach for the Copper Kings under Jim Crawford, and has been active as a high-level youth coach in the area, notably with some very successful girls travel squads.
He replaces Dan Giachino, who had coached the Kings for 11 seasons.
