The rise of AI has a wide range of applications, most notably in business day-to-day operations, and MTEC SmartZone plans to help local entrepreneurs harness this technology.
In May and June, MTEC SmartZone will host two programs in Houghton and Watersmeet to educate business owners and entrepreneurs about artificial intelligence applications.
The May 12 AI Training Series will take place at the Lakeshore Center in Houghton, beginning at 10 a.m. MTEC has invited Dr. Athena Stanley and Michael Cant to share expertise with business owners and professionals.
Dr. Stanley plans to demonstrate how to responsibly use AI, emphasizing its role in supporting human decision-making. Cant will explore how AI behaves and interacts with people and how to harness the tool effectively.
The series moves to Northern Waters Casino for a June 16 program featuring Andrew Halonen presenting “AI for Business: Applications and Best Practices” and Karen Colbert discussing “AI Starter Experience.”
Both events begin at 10 a.m. and aim to provide practical guidance for integrating artificial intelligence into business operations.
