Tonight’s the big night campus has been waiting for since the start of the school year: Michigan Technological University’s Winter Carnival all-nighter.
Ahead of this evening, several teams already started building grand snow statues in the month-long competition. But some of the most fun in the snow starts at 4 p.m. when all-nighter statue teams begin their construction projects.
Throughout the evening, as teams take breaks, students have plenty of activities to choose from. For six hours, the Air Force ROTC will flip flapjacks in Fisher Hall, the MUB common room will serve mocktails, and tables on campus will offer snacks for students passing by.
Huskies can keep warm by bonfires on campus or keep moving at USG mini golf, watch tonight’s broomball all-star games, howl in the night at karaoke, or watch a drone show just after 11 p.m.
Those interested in finding more information on activities during the 2026 Winter Carnival all-nighter beginning at 4 p.m. can find details online.
