A growing community and growing economy require leaders to take charge. After the start of the new year, the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce will hold the organization’s annual board of directors’ elections at the January Wake UP Keweenaw breakfast.
The chamber seeks dedicated, forward-thinking business leaders to join the board. The chamber of commerce serves as a clearing house for business information in the region and offers a unified voice to industry professionals. The chamber provides essential services and programs that benefit members and the community.
By joining the Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors, leaders help shape a pro-business climate that supports future prosperity and collaborate with various organizations to make a meaningful difference in the Copper Country.
Board members serve three-year terms, with a maximum of six consecutive years on the board. To become eligible for the election, candidates must be members of the Keweenaw Chamber of Commerce.
The chamber will continue to accept applications for the election until Jan. 2. The chamber will then gather its membership on Jan. 14.
