With Christmas around the corner, local markets will offer unique items to decorate for the season or offer great gift ideas shoppers can pick out for their friends and family.
An annual tradition and market that has been a great place to find locally crafted items and treats over 44 years has set up shop at the Chassell School for the Chassell Old Fashioned Christmas celebration. But the celebration has more than a large market space.
Events during Old Fashioned Christmas have for many years included festivities with veterans at the VFW Hall and home tours of seasonal displays.
Old Fashioned Christmas in Chassell begins on Wednesday with the Chassell Elementary School concert. On Friday, the community will enjoy tractor rides and some cookie decorating at the VFW Hall.
Finally, on Saturday, the Christmas bazaar marketplace will open inside the Chassell schools. The Heritage Center will have visits with Santa and a live nativity, with Tactical Taco in attendance for a pop-up eatery. The evening will also include the annual home tour.
