Mitchell David Kohn, beloved son, brother, and cherished friend, was born on December 18, 1988, and went home to Heaven on December 1, 2025. Though his time on Earth was far too short, Mitch’s presence left a lasting and radiant imprint on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Mitch was the treasured son of Father David Kohn, Mother Holly Forchette, and Step-Father Dave Forchette, and the loving brother of William Krueger. He was deeply adored by his many aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.
Mitch spent his adolescent years in Upper Michigan, where he enjoyed the companionship of friends and family and formed many of the memories that shaped his generous spirit. He later returned to Milwaukee as a young man, where he began his career in warehouse operations. He took tremendous pride in his role as a Supervisor at DHI Corp., valuing the friendships, support, and camaraderie he found among his coworkers. Known for his easygoing nature and willingness to go the extra mile, Mitch was the kind of person anyone could rely on.
A true ray of sunshine, Mitch’s smile could light up any room. He was warm-hearted, compassionate, and naturally empathetic, always attuned to the needs of those less fortunate and quick to offer kindness. He found joy in his family, good food, a hearty laugh, and the simple but profound act of making others feel loved and appreciated.
Mitch had a special affection for all of God’s furry creatures and often spent time enjoying his favorite YouTube videos or listening to one of his favorite artists, Tupac. One cherished family memory is the Mother’s Day card in which he lovingly wrote some of the lyrics to “Dear Mama,” a gesture never to be forgotten.
Mitchell will be deeply and profoundly missed by all who love him.
