Houghton Police seek information regarding a hit an run accident that occured yesterday in the city.
At 1:50 pm the houghton city police department was dispatched to the scene of a personal injury accident. Upon arrival officers attended to a 21 year old minnesota man who was struck by a moving vehicle while riding a bicycle on the sidewalk. The man was transported to uphs portage for treatment.
The Houghton police department has opened an investigation into the incident and requests anyone with information on the hit and run accident that occured September 9th near Townsend Drive/US-41 around 1:50 pm should contact the department at 906 482 7700.
