Incredible Bank helps Copper Country Angel Mission and Salvation army supply the tools students will need in the classroom this year. Recently Incredible bank helped fill out the last of support needed to provide the Stuff a Bus campaign’s 383 students with school supplies.
Using a 500-dollar donation from the incredible bank foundation CCAM and Salvation Army were able to purchase the last items the campaign needed ahead of backpack pick up starting this weekend. Volunteer Lois Ambekar says monetary gifts like the one from incredible bank help fill gaps and can help fundraisers order items in bulk or pick up the last few items. Incredible bank market manager Jamie Thyrion adds supporting the backpack program is one way the bank can give back and support the community, and help kids feel confident and prepared to start school with the right tools.
On Saturday youth with the Youth Action Council supported the program and stuffed back packs at the salvation army bread of life center in Hancock. Backpack pick up will start August 23rd.
Families registered with the program should contact the Copper Country Angel Mission to confirm pick up times.
