Heikinapiva’s festivities might have come to an end last month. But the Finlandia Foundation National happily celebrates National Sauna Week next week. And this year’s national celebration of saunas includes a special giveaway that could send someone to Finland.
Despite Sauna Week’s webinar activities starting on Feb. 15, FFN has already opened the National Sauna Week giveaway in partnership with Finnair, Sauna from Finland, and the North American Sauna Society. FFN Communications Director Minea Lindquist-Herwitz says the Trip to Finland giveaway is more than a round-trip ticket in June for the World Sauna Forum, but an opportunity to interact with Finland’s living sauna culture.
On Sunday the Finlandia Foundation National will officially kick off National Sauna Week with a panel titled “Hot Takes from the Top Bench.” More activities and webinars will occur throughout the week until Feb. 21, with the last two programs “What Really Matters in Sauna Experience Design?” and “From Finland to Instagram: How Sauna Lost (and Can Regain) Its Meaning.”
