The South Range Fourth of July Committee invites the Copper Country to next week’s Valentine’s Dance as part of its year-round fundraising efforts.
Throughout the year, the South Range Fourth of July Committee organizes events for the area, bringing live music, dancing and entertainment to town. The events all support the South Range Fourth of July festivities in the summer.
South Range Fourth of July Committee member Mike Rainier says next Saturday will offer a lot of fun together.
“Slick Nickel will be playing. The Valentine’s Dance in South Range will be Saturday, Feb. 14, from 7 to 11 p.m. I think a lot of people do make time to listen to good music on the night of Valentine’s Day. And we’re having a gift basket raffle. That will have over $1,000 worth in prizes,” Rainier said.
South Range’s Valentine’s Day Dance at the Range VFW Lounge will cost $5 at the door. Those funds help support this summer’s Fourth of July fireworks show, bike parade and many other activities. The VFW Lounge will serve drinks during the evening. Find more information for the Valentine’s Dance here.
