Alex DeBrincat’s goal 36 seconds into overtime gave the Red Wings a 4-3 overtime victory over the Senators yesterday. Detroit was less than a minute away from closing the game out in regulation, but Shane Pinto’s power play tally forced extra time. Axel Sandin-Pellikka, Lucas Raymond and James van Riemsdyk also scored for Detroit. John Gibson made 19 saves.
The Wings visit the Maple Leafs Wednesday. Coverage will begin at 6:45 on 99.3 The Lift.
