High School
In high school hockey last night…
- Noah Maillette’s goal in overtime gave Houghton a 6-5 victory over Gabriel Richard last night. Houghton took an early lead, with first-period goals by Brody Donnelly and Gunner Gullstrand. The Pioneers scored all their goals in a very active second period, with Houghton adding another tally by Donnelly, and one from Jack Sayen. By contrast, the third period was scoreless until Gullstrand’s second goal of the game with 81 seconds remaining forced extra time. Brycyn Nettel got the win in net.
