The Baraga County Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its Business of the Year award ahead of its annual meeting and member appreciation banquet in February. The chamber wants to highlight one of the region’s outstanding businesses that excel in customer and employee relations.
Community members are encouraged to submit nominations by February 1. Nominations should include the business’s name, a description of why it deserves the award, and contact information. They can be submitted online by emailing the Baraga County Chamber of Commerce.
The Business of the Year award honors companies that create positive community impacts through job creation, property improvements, support of local initiatives, industry recognition, superior business development, and outstanding customer service or products.
Voting will take place at the chamber’s annual meeting in February. Recipients will receive a commemorative plaque, promotion through the chamber’s social media channels, a public announcement, and a complimentary annual membership valued at $175.
