College Hockey
Lake Superior State swept the first two games of the Cappo Cup series against Northern Michigan with a 2-1 victory last night. Just as in Saturday’s 2-1 game, Caiden Gault scored the Wildcats’ only goal.
NHL
The Red Wings visit the Senators tonight. Coverage will begin at 7:15 on 99.3 The Lift.
NBA
The Pistons got past the Cavaliers 114-110 yesterday. Cade Cunningham scored 27, and Daniss Jenkins added 25 off the bench.
The Pistons host the Knicks tonight.
The Bucks turned back the Kings 115-98 last night. Giannis Antetokounmpo had 37 points and 11 rebounds.
The Bucks visit the Warriors Wednesday.
NFL
Jake Bates’ 42-yard field goal as time expired gave the Lions a 19-16 victory over the NFC North Division champion Bears yesterday. Jared Goff passed for 331 yards and a touchdown. Detroit’s season ends with a record of 9-8, and no playoff berth.
The Packers wrapped up their regular season with a 16-3 loss to the Vikings. In a game that meant nothing regarding their playoff position, Green Bay rested many of their front-line players. The reserve offense was held to just 121 total yards.
The Packers will visit the Bears in the opening round of the playoffs Saturday evening at 7:00. Hear all of the NFL playoff games on 99.3 The Lift.
