The largest veterans’ services and resource fair in the Upper Peninsula has set a date for the 2026 event.
On June 17, VetFest 2026 will attract hundreds of veterans and their families to learn about various services, programs and benefits available to service members. The event has grown quickly in its short existence.
Last year the veterans resource fair welcomed many veterans from the local area and served veterans who drove from as far away as northern Wisconsin to attend.
The event offers tables for attendees to meet with various organizations and organizes programs that detail programs the United States Veterans Affairs and local Service Offices have available. These presentations have shared information such as how to sign up for PACT Act benefits to compensate veterans exposed to toxic chemicals in burn pits while deployed.
Those interested in supporting VetFest 2026 should contact Houghton County VSO Director Joe Battisfore. Those interested in registering for the event or wanting to learn more about opportunities to get involved with VetFest 2026 can find more information online.
VetFest 2026 will take place at the Michigan Tech Student Development Complex on June 17, 2026.
