- Baraga throttled Bessemer 79-10.
- Ontonagon shut down Watersmeet 38-17.
- Ewen-Trout Creek stopped Wakefield-Marenisco 38-17.
In the boys play last night…
- Houghton overpowered Lake Linden-Hubbell 89-31. Terrance Nolan pumped in 43 points for the Gremlins. He broke the school record with 10 3-pointers in the game, and tied a state record with seven 3-pointers in one quarter. Jack Cooke added 10 points. The Lakes were led by Josh Daavettila with 16 points.
- Dollar Bay-Tamarack City outscored Calumet 76-32. Unofficial play-by-play scoring had four Blue Bolts in double figures, led by Liam Tourtillot with 19 points. Andrew Junttila had 10 points for Calumet. Hear the game replay here.
- L’Anse downed Jeffers 60-49. Sam Lee and Keegan Davidson led the Purple Hornets with 12 points each. Landon Larson scored 18 for the Jets.

College Basketball
Michigan Tech guard Kendall Standfest has been named the GLIAC Women’s Defensive Player of the Week. In the Huskies’ victories over Roosevelt and Parkside last weekend, she scored 23 points, and snared 19 rebounds.
NHL
John Gibson stopped 39 shots, as the Red Wings blanked the Canucks 4-0 last night. James van Riemsdyk, Andrew Copp, Nate Danielson and Dylan Larkin scored.
The Wings visit the Flames tomorrow. Coverage will start at 8:15 on 99.3 The Lift.
NBA
The Pistons are off until Friday, when they host the Hawks. Coverage will begin at 6:35 on 99.3 The Lift.
The Bucks entertain the Celtics Thursday.
NFL
In last night’s game, Cameron Dicker kicked a 45-yard field goal with 8 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime, then connected on a 54-yarder in the extra period to give the Chargers a 22-19 victory over the Eagles. Los Angeles intercepted four Jalen Hurts passes, including one on the final play of the game.
