TRIO Talent Search at Michigan Technological University is accepting applications for summer youth program scholarships, offering students a chance to explore potential college and career paths.
The program will award 20 scholarships valued at $1,400 each to students who want to attend one of the Summer Youth Programs’ weeklong sessions in 2026. The scholarships help students access education exploration programs during summer break.
Students spend Sunday through Friday on campus, living in dormitories and experiencing an introduction to college life. The Summer Youth Program offers sessions in aerospace engineering, computer gaming design, aviation with the Civil Air Patrol Copper Country Composite Squadron, robotics, outdoor field skills, women in engineering and materials science.
The program encourages students to explore their passions and interests that might lead to decisions about college degrees or career directions.
Students interested in applying for a TRIO Summer Youth Program scholarship for 2026 sessions must complete application forms by December 10.
