College Basketball
The Northern Michigan men’s basketball team used a strong second half to defeat Northwest Missouri State 69-51 yesterday. Dylan Kuehl led the Wildcats with 18 points.
NHL
The Red Wings host the Devils tonight. Because of NFL football, coverage will begin at 6:45 on KBear 102.3.

The Pistons visit the Pacers this evening.

NFL
The Lions pulled out a 34-27 overtime victory over the Giants yesterday. Jahmyr Gibbs ran for 219 yards and two touchdowns, including a 69-yard scamper for the game-winner on the first snap of the extra period. He also caught a career-best 11 passes, including one for a touchdown. Jake Bates kicked a career-long 59-yard field goal in the closing seconds to tie the game and force overtime.
The Packers shut down the Vikings 23-6. Filling in for the injured Josh Jacobs, Emanuel Wilson ran for 107 yards and two touchdowns. The Green Bay defense held the Minnesota offense to just 145 total yards.
In last night’s game, the Rams routed the Buccaneers 34-7.
The Panthers visit the 49ers tonight, with coverage at 7:30 on 99.3 The Lift.
