- Hancock hosts Lake Linden-Hubbell for the district title tonight at 6:00.
In Division Four, District 97:
- Forest Park claimed its district title, with a 3-0 (25-10, 25-14, 25-22) victory over Wakefield-Marenisco. The Trojans will face the winner of tonight’s game between Hancock and Lake Linden-Hubbell in a regional semifinal Tuesday at L’Anse High School.
In Division Three, District 65:
- Jeffers plays at West Iron County for the district title tonight at 6:00. The winner will face Manistique in a regional semifinal Tuesday at Gwinn High School. Tonight’s game will be broadcast on 99.1 WIKB.

Kenna Alexander’s goal lifted the Northern Michigan women’s soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Purdue Northwest yesterday afternoon.
The MTU women’s soccer team welcomes Purdue Northwest tomorrow at noon, as the GLIAC regular season comes to a close.
The NMU men’s soccer team hosts Purdue Northwest in a GLIAC tournament quarterfinal match Sunday.

NBA
The Pistons visit the Nets this evening for an NBA Cup game.
The Pistons have claimed former Sacramento Kings center Isaac Jones off waivers. He will fill the 15th spot on the team’s roster, which had been left open in case the club re-signed Malik Beasley. Beasley is a free agent, but has been involved in a sports betting investigation, and remains unsigned.
The Bucks host the Bulls for an NBA Cup game tonight.
NFL
In last night’s NFL game, the Broncos shaded the Raiders 10-7, to earn their eighth straight win.
The Lions visit the Commanders for a 4:25 game Sunday, with coverage on 99.3 The Lift.

MLB
The Tigers have claimed pitcher Jack Little off waivers from the Pirates.
Outdoor Gear Swap
The Copper Country Ski Tigers will hold their used outdoor gear swap tomorrow at the Houghton High School multi-purpose room. Merchandise will include bikes, kayaks, canoes, camping gear, skis, snowboards, outdoor clothing, and other items for silent sport enthusiasts. Drop off items to be sold tomorrow between 8:30 to 11:15 a.m. Current Ski Tigers can begin to shop at 11:30, and doors will be open from noon until 2:00 for the general public. Unsold items and checks should be picked up from 2-3 p.m. There is a 20 percent commission, with a $150 maximum, charged on all items sold to support the Ski Tigers race teams. Ski Tigers officials will also be available to talk with parents about their programs for Nordic skiers ages 5 through 17. You can also get more information on their website.
