High school volleyball tournament District semifinals will be played tonight…
In Division Four, District 98:
- Baraga plays at Hancock at 6:00.
- Dollar Bay-Tamarack City plays at Lake Linden-Hubbell at 6:00.
In Division Four, District 97, with all games played at Forest Park:
- Ewen-Trout Creek faces Forest Park in the opener, with coverage on 99.1 WIKB.
- Ontonagon meets Wakefield-Marenisco in the nightcap.
In Division Three, District 65:
- Calumet will host West Iron County at 6:00, with coverage at 5:40 on the Voice of the Copper Kings, KBear 102.3.
- Jeffers will play at Ironwood in the other semifinal.
In Division Two, District 33:
- Houghton will host Kingsford at 6:00, with coverage at 5:40 on the Voice of the Gremlins, 97.7 The Wolf.

The Red Wings dropped a 1-0 decision to the Golden Knights last night. John Gibson stopped 33 shots, and took the tough loss in net.
The Wings host the Rangers on Friday. Coverage begins at 6:45 on 99.3 The Lift.
NBA
The Pistons host the Jazz this evening, with coverage at 6:35 on 99.3 The Lift.
The Bucks fell to the Raptors 128-100 last night. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 22.
The Bucks host the Bulls in an NBA Cup game Friday.
MLB
Pitcher Jack Flaherty will be back with the Tigers next season. After some struggles last summer, he has exercised the $20 million option in his contract. Detroit has declined to pick up their option on pitcher Randy Dobnak, who will receive a $1 million buyout, and become a free agent. Dobnak was part of the trade with the Twins that also brought in pitcher Chris Paddack. He spent his brief tenure at Toledo. Paddack is also no longer with the Tigers.
The Tigers have hired Anthony Sanders as first-base coach and Cody Asche as assistant hitting coach. Both are coming in from the Orioles, who are rebuilding their staff under a new manager.
Two more Brewers have become free agents. The club has declined their options on first baseman Rhys Hoskins and pitcher Jose Quintana.
