On the final night of the high school volleyball season…
- Lake Linden-Hubbell claimed the Torch Lake Trophy and a conference title with a tight 3-0 (25-21, 26-24, 25-20) decision over Dollar Bay-Tamarack City. Cleo Milkey had 12 kills and 11 digs with 3 aces for the Lakes. Payton Goldsworthy had 28 assists and 4 blocks. Ella Schneiderhan had 7 kills, 5 blocks and 4 aces. For the Blue Bolts, Kiera Isaacson had 9 kills, 9 digs and 3 aces. Laila Bell had 6 kills and 8 digs. Sylvie Kentala had 19 assists and 10 digs.

- Baraga got past Ewen-Trout Creek 3-1.
- Jeffers downed West Iron County 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-23). Mia Nordstrom led the Jets with 11 kills and Kylee Andrews added 8. Montanna Heinonen had 10 blocks.

In Eight-Player Division Two, Lake Linden-Hubbell will host North Central tomorrow at 1:00 in a regional semifinal. Top seed North Dickinson will host St. Ignace in the other semifinal tomorrow.
In 11-Player Division Six, the Copper Kings will travel to Kingsley tomorrow for a rematch of last year’s District opener. Coverage will begin at 12:40 on the Voice of the Copper Kings, KBear 102.3. Boyne City will play at Traverse City St. Francis in the other semifinal tomorrow.
In 11-Player Division Eight, third seed L’Anse will play at Iron Mountain this evening. Fourth seed West Iron County will open at Bark River-Harris tonight, with the game broadcast on 99.1 WIKB.

NHL
The Red Wings blew a three-goal lead, then shaded the Kings 4-3 in a shootout last night. Alex DeBrincat scored one goal, and Marco Kasper found the net twice. L-A scored twice in the closing minutes of regulation to force overtime. Lucas Raymond netted the only goal in the shootout.
The Wings visit the Ducks tonight. Coverage will begin at 9:45 on 99.3 The Lift.
NBA
The Pistons face the Mavericks in Mexico City tomorrow night. Coverage will begin at 9:35 on 99.3 The Lift.
The Bucks got past the Warriors 120-110 last night. With Giannis Antetokounmpo on the bench with a sore knee, Ryan Rollins scored a career-best 32 for Milwaukee.
The Bucks entertain the Kings tomorrow afternoon.

The World Series resumes tonight, as the Blue Jays host the Dodgers. Toronto leads the Fall Classic 3-2.
