Janice K. Koski, age 71 of Baraga, MI passed away at Baraga County Memorial Hospital, L’Anse on Friday, October 10, 2025. She was born in Laurium, MI on February 27, 1954 the daughter of the late Arthur and Florence (Peters) Kinonen. Janice graduated from Baraga High School in 1972. She had bartended for many years and had most recently worked at Wilkinson’s Store, Baraga. On April 11, 2009 she married Roger Koski at Mission United Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death. Janice enjoyed quilting, decorating, crocheting, arts and crafts, baking and cooking. Janice is survived by her loving children Sherri Mannikko of Baraga, Fred (Jenny Reed) Cote of Zeba, and Arthur Dingena of Arizona, numerous grandchildren, several great grandchildren, brother Arthur (Janice) Kinonen of Idaho and nieces, nephews and cousins. Janice was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Graveside services for Janice will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, October 22, 2025 in the Keweenaw Bay Cemetery with Pastor Julie Belew officiating. A celebration of Janice’s life and potluck luncheon will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday at the Baraga American Legion Post #444.
