The second of four candidates to become Northern Michigan University’s next president met with the public last evening.
Ronald Hendrick is currently Provost and Senior Vice President at Texas Tech University.
He has a Michigan background, with bachelor and doctoral degrees from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at Michigan State University, where he later served as Dean.
At last night’s session, Hendrick said the priorities of people and community involvement set by the search committee reflect the values he’s applied as an educator and a leader.
You can learn more about Hendrick and candidate John Hayek at NMU’s website.
The identities of the final two candidates will be revealed when they visit the campus next week.
