Ronald P. Normand, 58, a resident of Calumet, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born on July 1, 1967, in Laurium, a son of the late Ronald and Sandra (Broberg) Normand. Ron was raised in Calumet and Lake Linden before graduating from the Lake Linden High School.
Following school, Mr. Normand moved to make his home in Calumet and began a 35-year career as a roofer, working until his health would no longer allow him to work. Ron loved helping people and would give the shirt off his back for any in need.

His children: Eli Normand and Siranda Patchel
His brothers: Gordon Dextrom and Kenny Codere
His step-sister: Debbie Goodell
Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins
His special friend: Dave Paavo.
His fury companions: River and Bela
