Over the weekend the Calumet Golf Club celebrated 100 years and received the Crystal Trophy from the Golf Association of Michigan. The weekend’s celebrations included a 100th Anniversary Golf Ball Drop Fundraiser sponsored by the Calumet Elks Lodge 404.
In the latest quarter of the Golf Club’s existence Kevin Antilla has led his staff. During Covid Antilla was responsible for keeping the business running, working alongside club president Larry Chopp and other members during a very tough time to run a business.
The Calumet Golf Club’s celebration was supported by the Calumet township fire department, Jesse Caron and Dave Sladek, Ray Relei and the calumet Theatre.
Those interested in celebrating the Calumet golf club’s 100th anniversary can see the original president trophy displayed at the clubhouse, where golfers can also pick up special celebration merchandise. Learn more about the Calumet Golf Club here.
