In case you missed out on the Green Bay Packers or the Detroit Red Wings’ recent gear sales. Hancock Public Schools has all the jerseys you’ll need. Recently, Hancock Public Schools and the athletic booster club announced a fun way to support local athletes. Superintendent Chris Salani says some of the football jerseys go back to the late 1980s. At the same time, most of the other apparel available to alumni, students, and the community comes from the 1990s.
We’re just asking for donations. We’re not selling specific items at a specific amount. Just because there’s a, you know, if you see the post, obviously there’s a multitude of items with different colors from our bulldog past and logos, things like that. So just an effort to kind of get to clearing out materials and our old uniforms. And allow that bulldog swag to be able to go out to our community members. – Chris Salani, Superintendent, Hancock Public Schools
Salani adds that the hockey jerseys available carry the same logo as when the high school won the state hockey championship in 1999. Other items include boys and girls basketball jerseys and team gear, such as jackets from cross country, track, volleyball, and baseball. Donations will support the Hancock Athletic Boosters Club and Hancock student-athletes. The Hancock Bulldog swag “sale” will continue through Thursday. Stop at the office to drop off your donation.
