A group of local veterans would like to take some other veterans out fishing.
Members of the Maple Leaf American Legion Post 291 in Bootjack are planning the adventure for this Saturday between 7 and noon. Vets will fish in pairs, based at the Dreamland dock.
Veterans who would like to fish do need to register in advance. Call 370-2920 to get further information and sign up.
