On August 31st, 1996, she married David J. Bastian. They lived in St. Louis in the early years of their marriage where she worked for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, before moving back to Calumet in the summer of 2001. Pam continued to work for the VA for several years as a medical clerk serving the veterans in our area, for whom she cared deeply. Pam later worked at the Keweenaw National Historical Park Service until retiring this year. She was also a central figure in the family business, North Country Cleaning and Painting, alongside her husband, since 2001.
Pam was a member of Laurium Shining Light Church and was a woman of great faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Her family was the center of her universe. She was a very sweet and kind person with a heart of gold. She was always selfless and willing to help anyone before herself. She knew all the right ways to make someone smile. No matter the circumstance, she was always there for everyone. Pam truly was a light in this life.
Pam was preceded in death by her father, William (Bill) Foreman, and her grandparents, Willard and Mary (Hall) Foreman, and Theodore and Glendora (Liimatta) Jorgenson.
