Michael R. Guilbault, 48, a resident of Atlantic Mine, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025, at his home from an apparent heart attack.
Mike was born on December 18, 1976, in Hancock, MI, a son of Rodney and Debra (Burkman) Guilbault. He was raised in Houghton and was a graduate of the Jeffer’s High School with the class of 1995. He then attended Northern Michigan University.
Mr. Guilbault then began a career working as an installer for Baraga Telephone Company, where he currently was working.

Gianna Guilbault of Atlantic Mine
His parents: Rodney & Debra Guilbault of Hurontown
His sister: Christina (Alan) Huhta of Twin Lakes.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Michael will be held 12:00 noon Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church of Houghton with Fr. Corey Litzner to officiate. Burial will be in the Oskar Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 10 am until time of services at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in Houghton.
