Beverly J. Clairmont of Calumet, Michigan cherished wife, mother, and foster parent, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the age of 86. Beverly was born on December 31, 1938, in Laurium to parents Andrew and Geraldine (Rheaume) Blau. She touched countless lives with her compassion and dedication to those in need.
She is greeted in heaven by her husband, Fred Clairmont, parents; Geraldine and Andrew Blau, Aunts; Violet Josephson, Marie Rheaume, Catherine Schmuhl, and Betty Jean Wilshire, Uncles; Leroy Rheaume, Robert Rheaume, Ransom Rheaume, and cousins; Gary Rheaume and John Josephson.
Beverly worked as a paraprofessional at the CKL school district until her retirement and served as a dedicated volunteer for many local community organizations.
Beverly and her husband Fred opened their home and hearts to nearly 100 foster children providing them a safe and loving environment to grow and thrive. Her homewas a sanctuary filled with laughter, warmth, and unconditional love.
Known for her patience, understanding, and endless humor, Beverly offered not only shelter, but also a sense of belonging and security. She instilled in them a belief in themselves and hope for a brighter future.
She is survived by Edward Adams, grandchildren; Cassandra Adams, Natasha Adams; Aunt Gail Rheaume; Uncle Carl Schmuhl; cousins, Marilyn (James) Dudley, Susan (Larry) Fries, Steven (Louise) Schmuhl, David (Barbara) Schmuhl, Marilyn (James) Dudley, Michael (Carrie) Josephson, Cynthia (Matthew) Melican, Linda Posz, Kirk (Mary) Rheaume, Robert Rheaume, Scott Rheaume and Linda, Karen, Cindy and John Wilshire, and special caregiver William Snell.
Private burial services will be held for Beverly Clairmont at a later date.
