More than 480 students graduate in the Copper Country in 2025. This year’s collective class includes more than 25 valedictorians, and nine salutatorians too. Across the Keweenaw Peninsula’s 12 high schools students have gained basic skills and knowledge to enter the workforce, or explore career opportunities at college and university.
The largest graduating class comes from Houghton High School, which will see 111 students walk and receive diplomas. Fittingly the largest class includes the region’s most valedictorians with eight students earning the honor. Chassell High School send out the smallest class of 2025 with 12 students taking the first step into the real world.
Graduation ceremonies begin today and continue tomorrow.
