The waters are ready for the season’s first cast. And we are ready for a young angler’s first cast too.
In one month kids can join the Michigan Department of Natural Resources in Escanaba for the annual Kid’s Fishing Day. The 32nd annual Kids Fishing Day takes place at the Upper Peninsula State Fair Grounds at the Pocket Park. The event has become a favorite for many families over the years, offering plenty of space for traditional fun and new activities.
During the event, kids will learn how to fish from Greg Karch, a certified angler instructor and founder of Learn 2 Fish with Us.
The 32nd annual kids fishing day in Escanaba will occur on June 7th. Registration will begin at noon, and the event will run until 3 pm. Registration will close at 1:30 pm.
