The Copper Country has plenty of great options for food, a day out or day in, and hot spots. Visit Keweenaw recently launched a new way to get the community’s perspective on the best of the best. Yesterday the inaugural Keweenaw Voters’ Choice Awards sought to discover some of the best options in the Keweenaw peninsula. The contest encourages locals, to maybe not give up the secret spot, but share where the best beach is on a sunny day or spot to enjoy a cool day indoors, who has the most delicious pasty and cup of coffee, and what bar tends to serve up incredible cocktails. The Voter’s Choice Awards will close on May 13th. Visit Keweenaw plans to announce the inaugural voters’ choice winners later in the month.
