Today Michigan Tech’s students take part in an annual tradition on campus brought to campus for the past 25 years. The 25th annual Design Expo. Around the Van Pelt and Opie Library and Memorial Union Building Ballroom posters displaying concepts or research students have worked on will appear, presenting more than 100 projects. The expo features over 80 judges from industry, academia, and alumni networks. Following today’s showcase the Design Expo will host a reception for students and an awards ceremony in the afternoon. The Design Expo showcase will begin at 10 am, until 2 pm. The Reception and awards at the Rozsa Center will open at 2:30 pm, with the ceremony starting at 3:30pm.
