Reinvigorating the copper country’s communities will take a team effort. Tomorrow developers interested in revitalizing properties in Hancock and Houghton will meet with Keweenaw Economic Development Alliance and Michigan Economic Development Corporation specialists.
The session is the third in a four part series that has brought together developers interested in working in the Houghton- Hancock area. Each session reviews the typical underwriting process developers will go through, help individuals understand debt and equity funding, as well as learn about local, regional, and state grant programs and tax incentives for development.
The third session will begin at 4 pm at Small Craft, located at 101 Navy Street in Hancock.
The developer’s event is free to attend. A fourth Emerging Developer Workshop will occur on Thursday in Houghton.
