Ray William McClellan passed away peacefully on March 15th surrounded by family.
Ray was born January 24th,1935, in Avoka, Michigan, to Maurice and Merle (Meddaugh) McClellan.
In 1954, he married his high school sweetheart, Norma Johnston. The couple spent 70 years together.
Ray is survived by his wife Norma, daughter-in-law: Leona McClellan of Battleground, WA, children: Randy (Nina) McClellan of Chassell, MI,
Alan (Rhonda) McClellan of Hancock, MI, Julie (Chuck) Anderson of Ashland, WI, Jill (Scott) Georges of Rockford, MN, Kevin McClellan of Hancock, MI,
Karen (Dennis) Lanctot of Houghton, MI, Aaron McClellan of Williston, ND, Kimberly (Kirk) Lipka of Marengo, WI, daughter-in-law Juanita McClellan Klein of Houghton,
49 grandchildren, 146 great grandchildren, 19 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of Christian friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents,his siblings, one son, Rod McClellan of Battleground, WA and three grandchildren.
Ray was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church of Hancock, Michigan.
Services are scheduled for a viewing from 6 – 8 pm on Wednesday the 19th and a funeral service on Thursday the 20th at 11:00 am, with a viewing one hour prior.
