Young Americans for Freedom at Michigan Technological University invites Ian Haworth to campus. Next Thursday Ian Haworth, a conservative writer and speaker, will visit the college campus as a part of the Young Americans for Freedom chapter’s American Liberty & Freedom Lecture Series. The event will include a question-and-answer section following Haworth’s remarks. Haworth moved to the United States from the United Kingdom. Before crossing the pond he earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Science from Oxford University. While working in Silicon Valley he spent four years working as a software engineer, including time working on Facebook’s fact-checking program. Later he left to work as a writer for the Daily Wire. Haworth regularly speaks at college campuses on conservative issues and topics related to big tech. The event will begin at 7 pm inside Fisher Hall. Doors will open at 6 pm. The event is free and open to the public.
